Helping People Understand Technology
Technology should empower people—not confuse them or leave them behind.
For more than 20 years, I have worked at the intersection of technology, accessibility, and education, helping students, educators, and everyday users better understand the tools that shape our digital lives. My work focuses on making technology more approachable, more accessible, and more useful for the people who rely on it every day.
Throughout my career, I have supported thousands of students through assistive technology, IT support, and accessibility services. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how technology can remove barriers, open opportunities, and help people reach their full potential.
A Passion for Accessible Technology
One of the most meaningful parts of my work has been helping build and support inclusive technology environments that allow students with disabilities to fully participate in their education.
Assistive technology is not just about software or devices—it is about independence, confidence, and equal access to opportunity. I believe strongly that technology should be designed and implemented in ways that work for everyone.
This perspective continues to guide my work as an accessibility advocate and technologist.
Author and Educator
I am also the author of several practical technology books designed to help people better understand the digital world.
My book Take Control of Your Digital Security focuses on helping everyday people protect themselves and their families online using simple, practical habits rather than complicated technical solutions.
My book Linux Mint for Everyday Use provides a step-by-step guide for people interested in exploring Linux as a stable, privacy-respecting alternative to traditional operating systems.
Through writing, training, and online resources, my goal is always the same: to make technology easier to understand and more useful for the people who depend on it.
Lifelong Learning
Technology is constantly evolving, and staying effective in this field requires continuous learning.
Over the past ten years, I have completed more than 100 professional courses across a wide range of technical topics including operating systems, networking, cybersecurity, programming, and accessibility technologies.
This commitment to ongoing learning allows me to stay current with new developments while continuing to share practical knowledge with others.
Looking Forward
As our lives become increasingly digital, the need for clear, practical guidance around technology has never been greater.
Through my writing, websites, and educational work, I aim to help people feel more confident using technology, better understand digital security, and ensure that technology remains accessible to everyone.
