Who is Ron G. Leblanc
I’m an Assistive Technologist, author, and educator focused on making technology more accessible, practical, and human-centred. Through books, resources, and the Participation–Barrier–Pathway Framework, I help people design meaningful pathways to participation.
A CLEARER STARTING POINT
Begin with the
person- not the
product.
Assistive technology practice often begins with a diagnosis, a software list, or a familiar tool. My work begins somewhere else: with the participation a person is trying to achieve.
That shift changes the conversation. It helps us identify barriers more accurately, consider environmental and non-technical solutions, and choose pathways that are sustainable in real life.
